Dr. Leon Daniels
President/CEO & Director
Pangolin Diamonds Corp.

Leon Daniels is the CEO of Pangolin Diamonds Corp. He discovered his first kimberlite pipe at the age of 21. Since then he has made kimberlite discoveries in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. He has been active in diamond exploration in Botswana over the past 39 years, where he is based. Over the past three years he has studied the inter-relationship between termite species and kimberlite indicator mineral concentrations at surface in the Kgalagadi desert environment of Botswana. The results of these studies have had a significant impact on the understanding of the distribution and concentrations of kimberlite indicator minerals where termites act as the dominant mechanism of transport of indicator minerals from the kimberlite to the surface. Based on these observations it is predicted that Botswana remains one of the best addresses to explore for kimberlites and diamonds. Leon has a PhD in Geochemistry.
