LAST BUT NOT LEAST — Abacus trenches geochem anomaly

Junior Abacus Minerals (VSE) has completed trenching and sampling on the Brookfield gold project in Nova Scotia.

The project lies within the province’s Meguma group of rocks. Abacus is looking for disseminated, sedimentary-hosted gold mineralization and not narrow vein deposits typical of the Meguma group.

After completing soil and biogeochemical surveys, the company trenched one of the anomalies. The best results were 0.06 oz. gold per ton over 19.7 ft. The company plans more work in 1994.
