Nuinsco encouraged by drill results

Diamond drilling by Nuinsco Resources (TSE) in Ontario’s Rainy River district has revealed intervals of high-grade gold.

Of 22 holes drilled on the Richardson Twp. property, 17 have been analyzed, with each showing evidence of gold mineralization.

The hole yielding the highest gold concentration contained a 5-ft. intercept averaging 0.34 oz. per ton and 1 ft. of 1.2 oz. per ton.

Nuinsco has carried out a reconnaissance overburden sampling program in several nearby townships, and although a full report is not expected before July, preliminary results from glacial till samples point to gold values similar to those found in the Richardson Twp. drill holes. An unexpected occurrence of native copper, suggesting a “red bed” sedimentary copper model, was also found.
