Seahawk prepares to drill in Guyana

Encouraging trench results have induced newly listed Seahawk Minerals (SKM-V) to drill the Blackwater Creek gold property in Guyana.

The company completed 12 trenches across two structures extending over 2,500 metres along strike. Gold values were as high as 9.5 grams per tonne.

A 3,000-metre program of core drilling will begin, following geophysical work.

Seahawk can earn a half interest in the 15,539-ha property from Pegasus Gold (PGU-T) by spending US$1.5 million over two years.
