THE DIAMOND PAGE — Rex confirms impressive grades

Rex Diamond (RXD-T) has confirmed that its kimberlites at Tongo Fields in Sierra Leone rank highly among world diamond deposits.

The company states the diamonds have an average value of US$175 per carat and that there is US$140 worth of diamonds per tonne of kimberlite material at the deposit.

Tongo Fields is one of four diamond mining leases in Sierra Leone being surveyed by Rex.

The junior also operates three fissure diamond mines in South Africa and will soon open its expanded diamond-sorting and marketing facility in Antwerp, Belgium.
